Summer On The North Kent Marshes

Mudflats of Cliffe Marshes

The Estuary Coast line of Medway and North Kent provides some amazing photographic opportunities.  Ideal for both wildlife and landscape photographers.

Many varieties of coastal birds such as Little Egrets, black headed gulls, shell ducks and Brent geese, to name but a few can be spotted throughout the year.

For Landscape lovers the salt marshes, mud flats, old boats and ship wrecks along the shoreline are just simply amazing.

This series of workshops are ideal for photographers of all levels of abilities; from beginners to advanced with any type of camera from DSLR to Smartphone.

I shall be guiding you around each area showing you some of the best locations to shoot; providing advice on camera settings, composition and best use of the light the day has to offer.

The workshops run in all weather conditions (unless a risk to life).  Some of my best photographs were taken on wet, windy days.

A great opportunity to brush up on your photography skills, explore the North Kent Coast and meet like minded people.

Cliffe Pools

Thursday 29th July 18:00 pm to 21:00 pm (sunset)

Lagoon at Cliffe Pools

Cliffe Pools is an RSPB managed nature reserve.  With it's beautiful lagoons and pools it is the Perfect place for both wildlife and landscape photography.

This is a slightly longer workshop - simply because there is just so much to see, 3 hours would not be long enough.

Motney Hill

Thursday 5th August 19:00 to 21:00 pm

Sunset at Motney Hill

Motney Hill is quite simply one of the best places to catch a sunset on the North Kent coast line.  During the summer months the sun sets across the River Medway estuary. Regardless of the weather it makes for a fantastic evening location with the large ship wreck on the marsh adding to the perfect landscape image opportunity.
